本日，同社はNWN拡張キット第二弾となる「ネヴァーウィンター・ナイツ拡張キット ホード・オブ・ジ・アンダーダーク」（以下，HotU）のリリースを発表した。
HotUは，同作のウリの一つであるスクリプト（エディタのオーロラツールセットで作成可能）にこだわり，緻密なストーリー構成と表現力を前面に押し出しているのが特徴だ。同作の翻訳は非常にワード数が多いことでも知られるが，それが高い精度で行われているのもセガの力の入れようが分かるというもの。HotUでもそのあたりは抜かりなく，コアなD＆Dファンでも満足いくようにしているとのことなので，ファンならば大きな期待を寄せて待っているとしよう。
本作の発売は，2004年秋の予定で，価格は未定。（Seal）
