映画スター・ウォーズ EP3公開に合わせ，SWGの新拡張パック発売
MMORPG「Star Wars Galaxies：An Empire Divided」（邦題 スター・ウォーズ・ギャラクシーズ）の新たな拡張パック，「Star Wars Galaxies：Rage of The Wookiees」（英語版）の発売が発表された。
発売時期は，映画スター・ウォーズの「エピソード3/シスの復讐」の公開と同じ2005年5月頃の予定（ちなみに日本での映画公開は2005年7月9日）。
この第二弾となる拡張パックでは，タイトルにもあるようにウーキー達の星"Kashyyyk：キャッシーク"が新たに追加され，100の新ミッションがプレイできる。ウーキーのキャラクターを使用しているプレイヤーにとっては，故郷での冒険が楽しめるというわけだ。
なお同時期に，新規プレイヤーのために，SWG製品版に拡張パック「Jump to Lightspeed」と「Rage of The Wookiees」を加えたお買い得パックも発売される予定。（朝倉哲也）
