「Battlefield 2」，すでに拡張パック第二弾も開発中？

　現代戦ミリタリーFPSとして高い人気を誇る「Battlefield 2」（邦題バトルフィールド2）の，拡張パック第二弾が2006年3月に発売されるという噂がある。噂の出所は，スイスのオンラインゲームショップ「World of Games」内の「こちら」のページ。ただ逆にいえばこれしか情報がなく，真偽のほども不明だ。
　「Battlefield 2」の拡張パックとしては，「Battlefield 2：Special Forces」が2005年秋頃に発売される予定。その第一弾がまだ発売されてもいないうちに，第二弾拡張パックの話題というのは少し気の早い話だが，「出たらいいなあ」くらいに思って心に留めておこう。（朝倉哲也）
