「Warhammer Online」，欧米でのサービス開始が2008年へ延期に

　EA Mythicによって開発が進められているMMORPG「Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning」のサービス開始時期が，北米とヨーロッパ地域で2008年第1四半期へと延期されたことが発表された。

　これは，同ゲームのニュースレター4月号において明らかにされたもの。Electronic ArtsがMythic Entertainmentを買収したことで開発環境が良くなったので，それを生かしてより良いものを作るために延期を決定したという。なお，アジア地域でのサービス開始時期については，現段階では未定だ。

　ニュースレターの4月号では，DwarfやGreenskinと呼ばれる種族のスタートポイントのスクリーンショットが掲載されているほか，コンセプトアートやそれを元にした3Dモデルの制作に関する最新ムービーも公開されている。興味がある人はニュースレターに登録しておこう。（朝倉哲也）
