「Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden」の無料体験版が配信に。ゴーストハンターと亡霊になった恋人の選択を描くアクションRPG

　Focus Entertainmentは2024年5月7日，アクションRPG「Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）の全プラットフォーム向けに，無料体験版の配信を開始した。


　「Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden」は，悪霊たちが跋扈する1695年を舞台に，ゴーストハンター「バニッシャー」であるアンテア・デュアルテとレッド・マックレイスの物語を描く作品だ。師と弟子，そして恋人同士でもある彼らだが，ある日，危険な任務で致命傷を負ったアンテアが亡霊となってしまう。
　彼女を完全な死の世界に送るべきか，それともアンテアを生き返らせるため，バニッシャーの掟を破って生きた人間から精魂を奪い取るか，レッドの選択は物語にさまざまな影響を及ぼしていく。


　「ライフ イズ ストレンジ」などで知られるDON’T NODが開発を務める作品で，バニッシャーの特殊能力を使うレッドと，霊のパワーを駆使するアンテアの両方を操作しながら進行するのが大きな特徴となっている。

　今回配信された体験版では，本作の最初のミッションがプレイ可能で，製品版への引き継ぎも行えるとのこと。残念ながら現時点で日本語には対応されていないようだが，本作に興味があった人はこの機会に触れてみるのもいいだろう。
