「Eragon」や「The Spiderwick Chronicles」のデベロッパ，Stormfrontが閉鎖か

　2007年に封切られたファンタジー映画「エラゴン 遺志を継ぐ者」をゲーム化したPCタイトル，「Eragon」を開発したデベロッパStormfront Studiosが会社を閉鎖したようだ。
　ゲーム情報サイトのGamasutraによれば，さまざまな情報筋からStormfront Studios閉鎖のニュースが入ってきており，最新情報ではStormfront Studiosの33人いた社員に，昨日になって突如として会社が閉鎖したことが告げられたということだ。

　Stormfront Studiosは，アメリカのカリフォルニアにあるゲームデベロッパで，創業から20年にわたりゲームの開発を続けてきた。代表作には「Eragon」のほか，指輪物語をベースとした「The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers」などがあり，最新作として同名映画のゲーム版「The Spiderwick Chronicles」が発売されている。
