「Warhammer 40,000: Darktide」の発売が2022年春に延期。Fatsharkが公式Twitterアカウントで告知

　スウェーデンのゲームメーカーFatsharkは本日（2021年7月16日），開発中のアクションゲーム「Warhammer 40,000: Darktide」（PC / Xbox Series X）の発売を延期すると公式Twitterアカウントで告知した。新たな発売日として，2022年春が予定されている。

　世界的に人気のミニチュアゲーム「ウォーハンマー40,000」シリーズの公式ライセンスを取得した本作は，最大4人のプレイヤーが参加できるCo-opをメインに，迫力あるメレーアクションが楽しめる作品だ。インぺリウムの古都テルティアム・ハイブを舞台に，闇に蠢くケイオスの魔物達と戦う民兵組織「ガウンツ・ゴースト」の活躍が描かれる。

　FatsharkのCEOであるMartin Wahlund氏の名前で書かれた告知によれば，ゲームの発売日までに彼らがゴールとするクオリティに達しないであろうことが延期の理由として挙げられており，新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響は避けられず，苦渋の決断を下したという。
