2Kは、このたび「NBA 2K15」のゲーム内BGM製作において、グローバルに活躍するアーティスト/プロデューサー、ファレル・ウィリアムスとのコラボレーションを発表いたしました。このコラボにより、大好評ベストセラー、NBAシミュレーションゲームシリーズ※の最新作「NBA 2K15」のコンピレーションBGMは、「NBA 2K」史上最も音楽的に幅広くユニークなものに仕上がっています。両者の協力により、ミュージックシーンにおける最先端のクリエイティブマインドと、この10年間最も成功を収めてきたエンターテインメントタイトルとのコラボが実現したのです。


ファレルは次のようにコメントしています。

音楽、ファッション、そしてデザインの世界で絶大な人気を誇るビジョナリー、ファレル・ウィリアムスは、N.E.R.Dの創設に始まり、Neptunesを経て最新のマルチメディア・クリエイティブ集団「i am OTHER」の事業立ち上げに至るまで、ポップカルチャーを牽引し続けてきました。ファレルは、ケンドリック・ラマーの「Good Kid, M.A.A.D City」やフランク・オーシャンの「Channel Orange」、そして自身のヒットシングル「Happy」やロビン・シックとの「Blurred Lines」、ダフト・パンクとの「Get Lucky」などで、ここ10年間のヒットアルバムのトラックのプロデュースに関わってきました。
