「指輪物語」をベースにした「The Lord of the Rings: Gollum」の発売が2022年に延期

　フランスのゲームパブリッシャであるNaconは本日（2021年1月27日），ドイツのDaedalic Entertainmentが開発を進める「The Lord of the Rings: Gollum」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / Nintendo Switch）の発売を2022年に延期すると公式Twitterで発表した。


　延期の理由は明らかにされていないが，これまでは2021年内の発売が予定されていたので，比較的大きな延期になる。また，これまではDaedalic Entertainmentがパブリッシングも担当するとされていたが，延期に伴い，新たにNaconがパブリッシャになったことが分かる。

　「The Lord of the Rings: Gollum」は，J・R・R トールキン氏の小説「指輪物語」の正式ライセンスを獲得した作品で，小説の日本語翻訳では「ゴクリ」，映画などでは「ゴラム」と呼ばれるキャラクターが主人公となる。狡猾で残忍な存在でもあるだけに，どのような内容のゲームになるのか興味深いところだが，今のところ詳細についてはあまり明らかになっていない。
　Naconは，今後，多くのニュースを用意しているともツイートしているので，続報を期待しよう。
