Netflix，「アサシン クリード」を題材とした実写/アニメシリーズなどのオリジナル作品の制作を発表。第1弾は“実写シリーズ”

　Netflixは2020年10月27日，Ubisoft Entertainment（以下，Ubisoft）が展開しているゲームシリーズ「アサシン クリード」を題材とした，実写/アニメシリーズなどのNetflixオリジナル作品の制作を決定したと発表した。その第1弾は“実写シリーズ”の予定であるという。

　なお海外向けのTwitterアカウントでは，発表に続くツイートで，UbisoftのJason Altman（ジェイソン・アルトマン）氏とDanielle Kreinik（ダニエル・クレイニク）氏がエグゼクティブ・プロデューサーとしてこの企画に携わることが明らかにされている。

　ちなみにアサシン・クリードを題材とした実写映像作品としては，マイケル・ファスベンダーさん主演の「アサシン クリード」が2016年12月（日本では2017年3月）に公開されている。同映画は現在，Netflixでも配信中だ。
