「DOOM 3：Resurrection of Evil」……「DOOM 3」に早くも拡張パック登場

2004/10/26 18:42 　2004年8月3日（日本では8月12日），ついに全世界が待ちに待った「DOOM 3」が発売となったのは，なんというか，まだまだ記憶に新しいところ。というか，つい最近の出来事だったような気がする。 　ところが，本作の初の拡張パックにあたる「DOOM 3：Resurrection of Evil」がリリースされるとの話が，Activisionとid Softwareから発表された。 　現在分かっている拡張パックの内容は，新たな舞台，新たなキャラクター，新たな武器，そして8人まで参加可能なマルチプレイ機能（本体では4人が限度だった）と新マップが収録されるという。 　なお，この拡張パックはid SoftwareとNerve Softwareの共同開発という話。ちなみにNerve Softwareは，「Return to Castle Wolfenstein」の評判高いマルチプレイモードを開発した会社だ。 　この拡張パックの発売時期はまだ不明。まあ，3年後ということはないだろう。（Kawamura） →DOOM3の記事一覧は，「こちら」
