Disney/Pixarの最新CG映画「WALL・E」のゲーム版が北米地域で発売

　THQは，アクションゲーム「WALL・E」を北米地域で発売した。本作は，Disney/Pixarによる同名の最新CG映画（日本国内では2008年公開予定）をゲーム化したもの。
　主人公の「WALL・E」は，環境汚染によってすべての人類が去った地球に残り，700年ものあいだ働き続けているロボットだ。WALL・Eは，地球に送り込まれた調査ロボット「EVE」と出会い，新たな生きがいを見出していくのである。


　ゲーム版でプレイヤーは，WALL・EとEVEを操作し，映画のストーリーを元にしたステージをクリアしていく。中には，映画では描かれていない物語やロケーションも用意されているという。
　なお本作では，シングルプレイのほか，ほかの人との協力プレイや対戦も楽しめる。

　公式サイトでは，スクリーンショットやムービートレイラーのほか，Windows用のデモ版が公開中だ。
