「The Lord of the Rings：Conquest」EA Express版が本日発売。EA STOREでのDL販売も開始

　エレクトロニック・アーツは，パンデミックスタジオで開発した「The Lord of the Rings: Conquest」のPC版を，EA Expressシリーズとエレクトロニック・アーツのオンラインストア「EA STORE」で，本日（1月22日）販売開始した。
　EA Expressシリーズは，海外とほぼ同じタイミングで発売する，英語版パッケージに日本語マニュアルが付属したパッケージだ。EA Express版の価格はオープン，EA STOREでは5800円（税込）となっている。

　本作は，指輪物語を映画化した3部作「The Lord of the Rings」の数々の名シーンを舞台に，ガンダルフやフロド達フェローシップの軍勢，もしくはサウロン率いる悪の軍勢としてプレイできる三人称のアクションゲームだ。


　フェローシップ軍に参加すれば，「Warrior」「Mage」「Archer」といったクラスから，キャラクターを選択してプレイ可能。戦闘中にキャラクターの切り替えもできる。オフラインモードでは，キャンペーンを4人までの仲間と協力プレイできるほか，最大16人でのオンラインプレイにも対応している。
