　恐竜が闊歩する世界を舞台とするPC用オープンワールド型サバイバルアクションゲーム「ARK: Survival Evolved」の無料配布が，Epic Gamesストアで本日（2020年6月12日）始まった（リンク）。日本語対応の作品で，通常価格は5150円（税込）。この無料配布は，6月19日0：00までの期間限定だ。

　ARK: Survival Evolvedは，恐竜や古代生物が出現する謎の島「ARK」を舞台としたタイトル。プレイヤーはそこで恐竜や原始的な生物を狩り，飼いならし，資源の採集や道具作りなどを行って生き残るために戦う。シングルプレイ，そしてオンラインでのマルチプレイに対応した作品である。
　ちなみに国内では，スパイク・チュンソフトがPlayStation 4版をリリースしている。

　Epic Gamesストアでは前述のとおり本編の無料配布が行われているほか，複数の拡張パックにアクセスできるシーズンパスなども大幅な割引が行われている。これから遊ぶ人，すでに遊んでいるという人も，ラインナップを一度チェックしておくといいだろう。
