「AEW: Fight Forever」の制作が発表に。All Elite Wrestlingをテーマにユークスが開発する新たなプロレスゲーム
THQ Nordicは本日（2022年8月3日），北米のプロレス団体All Elite Wrestling（オール・エリート・レスリング。以下AEW）をテーマにした格闘ゲーム「AEW: Fight Forever」の制作を発表し，アナウンストレイラーを公開した。対応機種はPlayStation 5およびXbox Series X，PlayStation 4，Xbox One，Nintendo Switchで，発売日および価格は未発表。開発は日本のユークスが担当し，20年以上前にプロレス好きゲーマーの心をつかんだアーケード感覚を，大いに刺激する作品になるという。
※2022年8月4日，日本語版についてのリリースを追加しました。
日本向けNintendo Switch版，PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4版の発売が予定されています。
2019年に設立されたAEWは，プロレス界に新風を吹き込む団体とされ，日本のファンにもなじみスーパースター達が次々に参加するなど，飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いだそうだ。
ゲームについては，AEWの人気番組でおなじみのプロレス技が多数登場するほか，オンラインマルチプレイでは，簡単な操作でチーム技を繰り出せるとのこと。マッチタイプには，シングルマッチやタッグチーム，梯子を使ったラダー・マッチ（Ladder Matches），AEWならではのカジノバトルロイヤル（Casino Battle Royale），武器使用が可能なライツアウト（Unsanctioned Lights-Out），有刺鉄線デスマッチ（Exploding Barbed Wire Death Matches）など，多数用意されている。
キャリアモードでは，服装や外見だけでなく，入場スタイルやムーブなど，豊富なカスタマイズが可能で，オンラインマルチプレイとリーダーズボードに対応しているとのことだ。
