8月のリリースが迫る「Atlas Fallen」，強大な神々が人類の運命を支配するゲーム世界“アトラス”を紹介するトレイラー公開

　Focus Entertainmentは，ドイツのDECK13 Interactiveが開発する「Atlas Fallen」「Atlas Fallen」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）の最新トレイラーを公開した。

　2023年8月10日（Steamは8月11日）のリリースが迫る「Atlas Fallen」は，中世風ファンタジーワールドを舞台にしたアクションRPGで，プレイヤーは広大なフィールドを探索しつつ，さまざまな武器やスキルを駆使して，巨大なモンスターに挑んでいく。


　公開された映像は，ゲームの概要と共に，ゲーム世界「アトラス」を開発者たちが紹介するというもの。アトラスは強大な神々が人類の運命を支配する土地で，プレイヤーは「エッセンス」をLithestaという都市に運ぶ隊商の，名もなき一員としてゲームを開始する。アトラスには多数の勢力が存在しており，ゲームの序盤では，隊商の移動を管理する「千年女王」（The Thousand year Queen）の配下によく出会うという。


　映像にもあるように，砂の上でサーフィンをするような高速移動が可能で，探索のペースは非常に速い。殺風景な砂漠が冒険の中心だが，それ以外にもさまざまなロケーションが用意されており，公開されたトレイラーでは，山岳地帯や緑に覆われた土地などが確認できる。DECK13が独自開発したゲームエンジン，「Fledge」が描き出す風景は圧巻だ。

　このほか，派手な演出のバトルシーンや，ドロップイン・アウト型のCo-opなど，さまざまなゲーム要素の説明が行われているので，プレイを考えている人は参考にしてほしい。
