キャベツ畑人形のパロディを題材にした「Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum」のレトロ風アクションゲームが登場

　iam8bitは，レトロアクションゲーム「Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum」を，PCおよび，PS4/Nintendo Switch/Xbox One向けに2022年10月26日に配信すると発表した。海外では，NESカートリッジも2023年Q1に発売される予定になっている。

　Garbage Pail Kids（ガーベッジ・ペイル・キッズ）は，1980年代にアメリカで発売され，日本でも大流行した「キャベツ畑人形」（Cabbage Patch Kids）のパロディとしてデザインされ，1985年にToppsから発売されたトレーディングカードシリーズだ。

　本作は，そんなGarbage Pail Kidsを題材にしたレトロ風アクションゲームとなる。Steamストアページ（リンク）によると，4人のプレイアブルキャラクターが登場するほか，6つのシークレットレベル，トレーディングカードシステム，ボーナスコンテンツなどが用意されるという。
