我らのシリアス・サムがまた大暴れ！　CroteamがSerious Samの新作を発表

　3D Realmsが閉鎖され，「Duke Nukem Forever」の前途に暗雲が立ち込める中，ライバルのシリアス・サムがついに帰ってくることになったようだ。
　クロアチアのデベロッパであるCroteamは，マッチョなシリアス・サムが大活躍するFPS，Serious Samの新作が開発中であることを公式サイトで発表しているのである。

　CroteamのCEOであるRoman Ribaric氏のコメントによれば，彼らは2005年の「Serious Sam II」のリリース以降，次世代版のゲームエンジン，“Serious Engine 3”の開発を続けてきた。最近になって彼らはシリアス・サムシリーズの新作の制作を始め，パブリッシャとの契約がもうすぐ締結されるということで，今回，開発を発表したという。
　また，以前話題になったミリタリーもののタイトルについては，パブリッシャ側からストップがかかっていたせいで中断していたが，制作を再開し新たなパブリッシャを見つけるとしている。
