コードマスターズ，アクションRPG「Rise of the Argonauts」発売開始を発表

　コードマスターズは，Liquid Entertainment開発のアクションRPG「Rise of the Argonauts」の発売を，欧州，中東，アフリカで12月12日（英国現地時間）に開始したと発表した。米国での発売は12月16日，また英国では2009年2月6日の発売がそれぞれ予定されている。対応プラットフォームはPC，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3。


　本作は，古代ギリシャ世界を舞台として，英雄的な戦士イヤソン（Jason）となり，ヘラクレスやアキレス，アタランタといった神話に登場する神々や，アルゴ号の乗組員と冒険するアクションRPGだ。
　黄金の毛皮を探す旅をしながら，戦士として頂点を極め，英雄へと生まれ変わることを目的としているとのこと。

　現在のところ日本での発売は未定とのことで少し残念だが，公式サイトにはスクリーンショットやアートワーク，本作の様子が分かるムービーが掲載されている。本作に興味のある人は，屈強な戦士達の戦う姿を今のうちにチェックしておいてほしい。
