「スプリーム コマンダー ゴールド エディション」のスクリーンショット40点を掲載

　「マイクロソフト ダンジョン シージ」などを生み出したChris Taylor（クリス・テイラー）氏が率いる，Gas Powered Gamesが開発したSF RTS「スプリーム コマンダー ゴールド エディション」のスクリーンショット40点を4Gamerに掲載した（※001〜040が新画像）。
　今回掲載したSSはすべて「Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance」のもので，これは2007年2月に発売された「Supreme Commander」の拡張パックという位置づけだ。

　2月8日にズーから発売された「スプリーム コマンダー ゴールド エディション 日本語マニュアル付英語版」は，Supreme CommanderとForged Allianceの2本を合わせたパッケージだ。ストーリー的にこの2本は連続しているので，順番に遊ぶのが妥当だ。
　このパッケージには70ページに及ぶ日本語マニュアルと，それとは別に4種族分のユニット表の小冊子が含まれている。本作は，RTSの中ではゲームルールが難解な部類に入るが，この2冊はプレイ時に大いに役立ってくれるだろう。かつて「Total Annihilation」にハマったような，往年のChris Taylorファンは要チェックだ。
