セインツの面々がサンタに変身？　「Saints Row IV」のDLC第2弾「How the Saints Save Christmas」が欧米向けにリリース開始

　オープンワールドアクション「Saints Row IV」（PC/PS3/Xbox 360）のDLC第2弾「How the Saints Save Christmas」が欧米向けにリリースされた。価格は6.99ドルで，シーズンパスの所有者は無料となっている。


　「How the Saints Save Christmas」は，シミュレーションの中に囚われて凶暴化してしまったサンタクロースを救うために，我らがセインツが立ち上がるという，ちょっぴりハートが温かくなるストーリーのミッションパックだ。
　今回公開されたトレイラーからは，本来なら他人を喜ばせることなどまったく興味のない主人公“ボス”が，なぜかにセインツの面々と力を合わせ，クリスマスの伝統を取り戻すべく奮闘する様子がうかがえる。さらに角の生えたサンタはもちろん，マシンガンを手にした雪だるまや隊列を組んで攻めてくるクルミ割り人形など，クリスマスに絡んだハチャメチャぶりも健在のようだ。


　本作の日本語版は2014年1月23日に発売されるため，クリスマスシーズンには間に合わないものの，海外で配信されたDLCは同梱される予定だ。今からトレイラーで気分を盛り上げておくと良いかもしれない。
