PS5/PS4用ソフト「MLB The Show 21（英語版）」が4月20日に発売。ハプティックフィードバックに対応し，一球一打のインパクトを体感できる

　ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは2021年2月1日，PS5/PS4用ソフト「MLB The Show 21（英語版）」を4月20日に発売すると発表した。

　価格は，PS5のパッケージ版が6900円（＋税），ダウンロード版が7590円（税込），PS4のパッケージ版が5900円（＋税），ダウンロード版が6490円（税込）で，CEROレーティングは審査予定となっている。なお，PlayStation Storeでダウンロード版の予約購入受付が始まっている。


　本作は，メジャーリーグの世界を楽しめるベースボールゲーム「MLB The Show」シリーズ最新作だ。さまざまなゲームモードが用意されており，1人の選手の目線からメジャーリーグの世界を体験したり，自分だけのチームを作ったり，世界中のプレイヤーと対戦したりできる。

　PS5のDualSenseワイヤレスコントローラーのハプティックフィードバックに対応しており，一球一打のインパクトが体感できるほか，PS5とPS4でのクロスプレイを楽しめる。

　購入特典としてゲーム内通貨5000Stubsが入手できるほか，PS5版には「The Show パック×10」が同梱される。また，パッケージ版の早期購入特典と，ダウンロード版の予約購入特典として，「ゴールドチョイスパック×1」がプレゼントされる。
