1970年代の殺人事件を追う。「The Rise of the Golden Idol」TGAトレイラーが公開
ゲームイベント「The Game Awards 2023」で，Color Gray Gamesが開発，Playstackが配信する新作ゲーム「The Rise of the Golden Idol」の特別トレイラーが公開された。
提供先は，PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Switch / PS4 / Xbox One / Netflix Gamesが予定されている。
本作は，推理ゲーム「The Case of the Golden Idol」の続編だ。作中では1970年代を舞台に，謎を秘めた遺物“Golden Idol”を取り巻く15件の殺人事件に迫っていく。
容疑者は宗教家や囚人，企業の中間管理職などさまざま。プレイヤーは自由に調査しながら，当時の幻覚剤，FAX，超常現象，TVの番組表などを駆使して，自分なりの推理を組み立てていくという。
