	id Softwareが，FPSゲーム「Quake II」のダウンロード販売を公式サイトにおいて開始した。ファイルサイズが250MBで，価格は30ドルとなっている。購入する人は公式サイト「ここ」の右下にある「buy it」ボタンを押して先へ進もう。 　「Quake II」は，Windows 95時代の傑作FPSの一つ。前作「Quake」のおどろおどろしいファンタジック色あふれるものから一転，SF色を前面に打ち出したものとなっている。プレイヤーは機械生命体の侵略を受けている地球を救うため，敵の本拠惑星に単身乗り込み，敵基地を破壊するというもの。（Asakura）
