	珍奇な言動で知られるアメリカの誇るレベルデザイナー通称"Levelord"が，個人の余暇時間を削って制作したという「QuakeIII：Arena」用のデスマッチレベルを，自身のウェブサイト「こちら」にアップロードした。Levelordは，以前から独自の思想を盛り込んだレベルデザインに定評があり，「Blood」や「Duke Nukem 3D」を手がけた後，Ritual EntertainmentでQuake用のミッションパックに提供したデスマッチレベル「The Egde of Oblivion」は，歴史的な作品として古参のゲーマーの記憶に残っていることだろう。もちろん，最近では「SiN」や「Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2」などの開発にも参加している。 　Q3A用に制作したデスマッチレベルは「ASSault」（3.75MB）と命名されたもので，4人から8人用のFFAモノ（Free-for-All）である。「感想なら何でもウェルカム」とのことなので，現役レベルデザイナーの無料マップを試して，是非感想をメールしてもらいたい。なお，彼の脳内が伺えるようなウェブサイトを閲覧するだけでも十分楽しい。（Okutani）
