EA，指輪物語RTS「The Battle for Middle-Earth Anthology」を発売

　Electronic Artsは，指輪物語の世界を舞台としたRTS「The Battle for Middle-Earth」シリーズ3本を一つにした，「The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth Anthology」を発売すると発表した（正式発表は「こちら」）。

　このAnthologyは，「The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth」「The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II Collector's Edition」「The Battle for Middle-Earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king」の3タイトルがワンパッケージになったお買い得版だ。
　とくに，The Battle for Middle-Earth IIの限定版として発売された，“Collector's Edition”が含まれているのがポイントで，Collector's Editionの特典だった，スペシャルマップやユニットを手に入れられるチャンスが再び訪れたのは嬉しい。
　発売は2007年3月20日で，価格は39.99ドルの予定。（朝倉哲也）
