北朝鮮でのSEAL隊員の活躍を描く「Rogue Warrior」がまもなく発売？

　「Rogue Warrior: Black Razor」は，アメリカ海軍特殊部隊SEALの元隊員Richard Marcinko氏の同名小説を原作とするタクティカルシューティング。Bethesda Softworksが2006年にパブリッシングを発表して以来（関連記事），これまで目立った動きはほとんどなかったが，どうやらあと1〜2か月ほどで発売される模様である。
　海外ゲーム情報サイトBig Downloadが報じたところによれば，Bethesda Softworksの広報担当であるPete Hines氏は，同サイトに対し，現在Rogue Warriorの開発が進んでおり，あと1〜2か月ほどで発売されるとの見通しを伝えたという。

　ちなみに，本作のデベロッパZombie Studiosは，20th Century Fox Filmによる映画化が決まっている「Blacklight」や，人気ホラー映画シリーズを原作とするゲーム「SAW」の開発で知られている。

　Bethesda Softworks公式サイトのRogue Warrior紹介ページでは，Unreal Engine 3による美しいスクリーンショット3点が公開中だ。
