QuakeConで，FPS＆カーレース「Rage」のイメージムービーが公開
id Softwareが，新ゲームエンジン「id Tech 5」で開発中のFPS＆カーレース「Rage」の新ムービーが，QuakeCon 2008会場で公開された。
Gamevideos.comでは，このムービーの発表シーンを撮影したものが公開されている。John Carmack氏によってゲームタイトルが告げられると会場に歓声が沸き起こり，スクリーンに「id Tech 5」のロゴが表示され，ムービーが開始する。
ムービーでは荒廃した地上を武装したバギーカーが走り回り，ミュータントと戦闘を行うシーンなどが登場する。実際のプレイシーンらしきものは見当たらないが，本作の雰囲気を掴むには良いムービーだろう。ハンディビデオカメラで撮影しているため多少画面が揺れるなど，あまり条件が良い撮影とはいえないが，本作に期待しているなら見ておきたい
