「Warhammer 40K：DoW II」，マルチプレイβテストと発売日が発表に

　先日動作環境が発表された（関連記事）SF RTS「Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II」の，マルチプレイβテストと発売日が，公式コミュニティサイトで発表された。


　発表によれば，マルチプレイβテストはValve Softwareのオンライン配信システム「Steam」を通じて行われるとのこと。すでに「Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm」を持っているプレイヤーは2009年1月21日から，それ以外の人は1月28日からそれぞれテストに参加可能となる。
　このマルチプレイβテストでは，ゲームに登場する4種族すべてがプレイ可能で，5種類のマルチプレイマップが用意されている。また，Games for Windows - LIVEによるマッチメイキングに対応しているとのことだ。
　なお，製品版の発売日は，2009年2月23日を予定している。
