「Warhammer 40K：DoW II」の開発が終了，北米では2月19日発売が決定

　THQは，SF RTS「Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II」の開発が終了し，北米地域で2009年2月19日に発売すると発表した。


　本作は，「Company of Heroes」で知られるRelic Entertainmentが開発するシリーズ最新作。人類が宇宙の隅々まで進出している遥かな未来で，さまざまなエイリアンと銀河の覇権を賭けた果てしのない戦いが続けられているという，ミニチュアを使ったテーブルゲーム「Warhammer 40,000」の世界設定をベースとしたRTSだ。
　公式サイトでは，スクリーンショット，プレイムービー，壁紙などが公開されている。
