Bethesda，Falloutシリーズ新作「Fallout：New Vegas」を発表

　ゲームパブリッシャ/デベロッパのBethesda Softworksは，ロンドンで開かれたプレスイベントにおいて，Falloutシリーズの新作「Fallout：New Vegas」を，2010年にPC，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3の各プラットフォームに向け発売すると発表した。


　内容などの詳細については発表されていないが，Bethesda SoftworksのPete Hines氏によれば，「Fallout 3」の続編ではなく，Falloutシリーズの世界設定を採用した新たなゲームとのことだ。

　開発は「Neverwinter Nights 2」や「Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic」（PC版/Mac版）のObsidian Entertainment。同社では本作の他に，映画エイリアンをベースにした新作RPGや，スパイアクションRPG「Alpha Protocol」といった話題作を開発している。
