超自然現象を扱うアクションADV「Control」は8月27日発売へ。日本語字幕対応のPC版はEpic Gamesストアで事前購入受付中

　505 GamesとRemedy Entertainmentは，超自然現象を扱う新作「Control」（PC / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One）を，2019年8月27日に発売すると海外向けに発表した。PC版はEpic Gamesストアで事前購入の受付が開始（リンク）。日本語字幕対応で，価格は6680円（税込）となっている。事前購入の特典は，ゲーム内で使える衣装「The Tactical Response Gear」と，キャラクターや武器のアップグレードに使用できるクラフト用の資源パックだ。


　本作は銃，そして超自然的な能力を駆使して戦う三人称視点のアクションアドベンチャー。主人公は，奇怪な現象の震源地として特定されたビルに潜入する連邦管理局の女性エージェント，Jesse Faden（ジェシー・フェイデン）である。プレイヤーは，重力が捻じ曲がっていたり，人間が突然として獰猛なクリーチャーに変身したりするという状況の中，失踪した仲間のエージェントの居場所と事件の謎を追い求めて戦うのだ。
