ホラーゲーム「Layers of Fear 2」が発売，ローンチトレイラーも公開に。豪華客船の中で巻き起こる恐怖体験に耐えられるか？

　ポーランドのBloober Teamは，ホラーシリーズ最新作となる「Layers of Fear 2」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）を，Gun Mediaより発売し，そのローンチトレイラーを公開した。本作は，1930〜40年代の「ハリウッド黄金時代」と呼ばれた時代に，映画のセットとして貸し切られた豪華客船が舞台だ。


　主人公は，その場所に招待された駆け出しの女優で，出迎えどころか，クルーやキャストも登場してこないまま，監督からスピーカーにて自然体の演技を強要される。現実とも脚色ともわからない体験を目の当たりにしていくなか，芸術家の狂気の世界の中に足を踏み入れていく主人公は，やがて自身の過去の記憶も紐解かれていくことになる。


　ポーランド出身の作曲家として，ゲーム業界でも立ち位置を築くアルカディウス・レイコウスキ（Arkadiusz Reikowski）氏が前作に続いてBGMを担当しているだけに，ファンには期待も膨らむところ。

　PC版の価格は3090円（税込）だが，2019年6月1日までは，スペシャルプロモーションとして10％割引の2781円（税込）で購入可能だ（PS4版とXbox One版は国内未発売）。インタフェースと音声，字幕は日本語に対応しておらず，また現時点では日本語化の予定はアナウンスされていないのだが，気になる人はチェックしておくといいだろう。
