レーシングゲーム「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」のティザートレイラーが公開。対応プラットフォームが明らかに

　Naconは，KT Racingが開発するレーシングゲーム「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch）のティザートレイラーを公開し，対応プラットフォームを明らかにした。


　「Test Drive」と言えば，1987年から続くレーシングアクションゲームシリーズ。当時，版権を所有していたAtariは，フランスのEden Gamesを開発元にしてオープンワールド型の「Test Drive Unlimited」を2006年にリリースする。2011年には「Test Drive Unlimited 2」も発売されているものの，その後に版権が他社に譲渡され，2020年にNaconが獲得するに至っている。
　「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」の開発を担当するのは，Nacon傘下のKT Racing（Kylotonn）だが，Eden Gamesで「Test Drive Unlimited」シリーズで陣頭指揮を執ってきたオリジナル開発者のAlain Jarneau氏が参加して，本作のクリエイティブ・ディレクターに就任しているという。


　現時点では，まだ「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」の具体的な舞台やストーリー設定については明らかにされていないものの，サブタイトルとなっている“ソーラークラウン”とはゲーム内の通貨と思われ，プレイヤーはオープンエンドな世界の中で自由にレースを選び，路上で賭けレースを行っていくという趣向になっているようだ。
　フェラーリ，ランボルギーニ，ポルシェ，ケーニグセグ，アポロ，ダッジ，そしてブガッティは公式情報の中で明記されているが，今回リリースされたトレイラーに出てくる車やキーは，ランドローバー，アストンマーティン，アウディ，ベントレー，メルセデス・ベンツといったプレミアムカーばかりフィーチャーされているのが分かる。前作同様に，プレミアム感が感じられるリッチなライフスタイルを満喫していくことになると思われる。


　すでにSteamストアページは公開されており，日本語の対応も行われる様子。発売日や価格を含めた詳しい情報についても近日中に改めてアナウンスされると思われるが，気になる人はウィッシュリストに追加しておくと良いだろう。
