「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」の発売日が9月12日に決定。リアルスケールの香港島を再現した，約13年ぶりのシリーズ新作

　Naconは本日（2024年5月30日），「Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）の発売日が9月12日に決定したことを明かし，そのトレイラーを公開した。


　「Test Drive Unlimited」シリーズは，オープンワールドのマップでさまざまな車両をドライブしたり，オンラインで他のプレイヤーとのレースを楽しんだりできる，MMOレースゲームだ。これまでにハワイ州オアフ島や，スペインの保養地，イビサ島などが舞台となっており，前作「Test Drive Unlimited 2」から，約13年ぶりの新作となる。


　最新作Solar Crownでは，中国の香港島が1:1スケールで再現され，高層ビル郡や金融街，ネオンサインだらけの狭い路地，急こう配の丘陵地，砂浜が広がるリゾートなど，道路の総距離が600km（375マイル）にもおよぶマップとして用意されているという。

　トレイラーでは，ストリートで一般車両の合間を縫って走り抜けたり，浜辺や山といったオフロードを走破したりと，香港島のさまざまなロケーションでレースを行う様子が収録されている。
