「Evil West」の発売が9月20日に決定。吸血モンスター軍団と戦うガンアクションが日本語対応でリリース

　Focus Home Interactiveのゲームブランド，Focus Entertainmentは，ポーランドのFlying Wild Hogが開発を進める「Evil West」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One）の最新トレイラーを公開し，2022年9月20日の発売を発表した。

　アメリカの西部開発時代をテーマとする「Evil West」は，謎の「黒い脅威」によって獰猛な吸血モンスターが夜を支配するようになった世界を舞台に，孤独なハンターが戦いに挑むというアクションゲーム。「Shadow Warrior」シリーズを手がけたFlying Wild Hogだけに，激しいアクションが堪能できるテンポの良い活劇が楽しめそうだ。


　西部劇風のさまざまな銃器のほかに火炎放射器や狩猟の道具などが登場し，これらを道中で見つけたアイテムでアップグレードしたり，特殊能力を獲得したりして，自分の好みのコンバットスタイルに仕上げていくというPRG要素も用意されている。Co-opにも対応しているとのことで，キャラクターのカスタマイズなども楽しめそうだ。


　コンシューマ機版の日本展開は発表されていないが，PC版については，SteamやFocus Storeなどで予約受付が始まっており，Steamのストアページによれば，インタフェースやテキストが日本語にも対応するという。ダークな世界観とスタイリッシュで爽快なガンアクションを楽しみたい人は公開された映像や公式サイトをチェックしてほしい。
