Take-Twoの新ゲームブランドから，Civilizationの新作が発売決定
Civilizationといえば，その売り上げは常にミリオンセラーとなっており，いわばPCゲーム界でも最も売れているゲームの一つ。その最新作というビッグタイトルを獲得したことは，設立されたばかりの2K Gamesにとって大きな追い風となるだろうことは想像に難くないい。
なお，「Sid Meier's Civilization IV」に関する情報は，第一報が出された2004年のGDC以降，これといって明らかにされていない（このGDC情報は「こちら」で）。今回の発表でも，肝心のゲームの内容などについては語られておらず，果たしてどのようなゲームとなって登場するのか，ゲームファンとしてはそちらのほうが気になるだけに，一日でも早い情報公開を希望したい。（朝倉哲也）
