「Dragon Age II」の新DLC「Mark of the Assassin」の新キャラクター，Tallisをハリウッド女優フェリシア・デイさんが熱演

　Electronic Artsは，世界累計で400万本という大ヒット作になった「Dragon Age II」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）の最新ダウンロードコンテンツ，「Mark of the Assassin」のムービーを公開した。

　Mark of the Assassinは，タイトルどおりエルフのアサシン“Tallis”が新たにパーティメンバーとして加わるDLCだが，このキャラクターにボイスを提供しているのがハリウッド女優フェリシア・デイさんで，キャラクターモデルも彼女のものが使われている。
　人気テレビシリーズ「Buffy the Vampire」のVi役としても知られるが，ゲームでは「Fallout: New Vegas」のヴェロニカ役の声優を務めたこともある。

　Mark of the Assassinの舞台となるのは，Kirkwallから離れたOrlesianという新たな地域で，ニューオーリンズなど，フランス系植民地を思わせる場所であるとのこと。ここで，ある秘宝を盗み出すというミッションをプレイヤーが請け負うことになり，アサシンとして登場するTallisも，ミッションには欠かせない存在となるらしい。ゲームのストーリーを進めるにつれ，彼女の背景などが紹介されていくという。もちろん，新たな武器やアイテムなども登場する予定だ。


　Mark of the Assassinは，欧米では2011年10月11日に各プラットフォーム向けにダウンロード配信される予定。日本でのリリースは未定だが，Dragon Ageファンには気になるDLCとなりそうだ。
