　ユービーアイソフトは本日（2012年5月25日），英国のゲームデベロッパRebellionが開発したステルスシューティング「スナイパー エリートV2」（PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）の日本発売が決定したことを発表した。発売日は8月9日で，価格は7329円（税込）を予定。


　本作は，2005年に発売されたPC版「Sniper Elite」の続編にあたる作品だ。今作では，第二次世界大戦後のベルリンを舞台に，アメリカのエリートスナイパーKarl Fairburneとなったプレイヤーが，V2ロケットのプログラム技術流出を阻止するべく活躍する物語が描かれる。1発の銃弾が歴史を変える瞬間を，その目で確かめよう。
