「ライフ イズ ストレンジ」は2016年3月3日に国内発売。約20分におよぶ日本語ボイス付きのゲームプレイ映像が初公開

　スクウェア・エニックスは本日（2015年12月9日），アドベンチャーゲーム「ライフ イズ ストレンジ」（PC / PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 3。原題：Life Is Strange）を，日本国内で2016年3月3日に発売すると発表した。PS4版のみパッケージ版とダウンロード版が用意され，PC版とPS3版はダウンロード販売のみ。すでにSteamで配信の始まっているPC版に関しては，2016年3月3日以降に配信される無料のアップデートファイルにて，日本語音声/日本語字幕の切り替えが可能になる。
　コンシューマ機版の価格はいずれも4444円（税別）で，CEROレーティングはD（17歳以上対象）。音声，字幕共に，日本語と英語に対応する予定となっている。


　ライフ イズ ストレンジは，プレイヤーの選択によって物語の内容が変化するアドベンチャーゲーム。オレゴン州の田舎町にある高校で写真を学ぶ主人公・マックスは，突然，時間を巻き戻す力を手に入れる。そして彼女が，5年ぶりに再会した親友のクロエと共に，女子生徒レイチェル・アンバーの失踪事件を調べ始める。プレイヤーは，アメリカにある田舎町のノスタルジックな風景を楽しみつつ，マックスの身に起きた出来事を体験していくのだ。
