「F1 2017」公式e-Sports大会が開催決定。準決勝はイギリスのGfinity eSports Arena，決勝はアブダビのヤス・マリーナで実施

　Formula 1は，Codemastersが8月25日に発売する「F1 2017」（日本語版はユービーアイソフトがPS4 / Xbox One版を9月14日に発売）を用いたe-Sports大会の“Formula 1 Esports Series”を開催すると発表した。大会の運営はCodemastersとGfinityが行う。

　予選は9月中に行われ，上位40人が準決勝に進出する。準決勝戦は10月10，11日にイギリスのGfinity eSports Arenaで開催。準決勝は20人が通過でき，決勝戦は11月24〜26日にヤス・マリーナ・サーキットで開催されるF1 アブダビGP内にて実施される。

　賞金や景品の有無は今のところ不明だが，優勝者は次回大会における準決勝へのシード権と，「F1 2018」への出演権利が与えられるとのことだ。
