　ジェフ・キーリー（Geoff Keighley）氏が，gamescom 2021内のイベント「Opening Night Live 2021」にて，「セインツロウ」シリーズに関する何らかのアナウンスが行われることを示唆するコメントを自身のTwitterアカウントに投稿している。

　ツイートには「Rebooting」と書かれた映像と，セインツロウシリーズの公式サイトのリンクが貼られている。十中八九，セインツロウシリーズの新作が発表されることになりそうだ。

　セインツロウは，オープンワールドをベースにしたクライムアクションゲームシリーズ。過去作のリマスターなどがリリースされているものの，2013年に「セインツロウIV」が発売されて以来，新作が出ていない。

　Opening Night Live 2021は8月26日3：00に実施される予定だ。
