「Construction Simulator」の最新トレイラー公開。実在するメーカーによる70種類以上の建設機械が大集合

　ドイツのAstragonは，発売を予定している建設シミュレーションゲーム「Construction Simulator」の最新トレイラーを公開した。

　「Construction Simulator」は，Astragonが2015年にリリースした「Construction Simulator」を第1弾とする人気シリーズの最新作だ。2017年には続編の「Construction Simulator 2」が，また2019年には「Construction Simulator 3」が各プラットフォーム向けにリリースされているが，2022年6月，ナンバリングを廃したシリーズ最新作を9月20日に発売することが発表されている。
　開発を担当するのは，ドイツのweltenbauer. Software Entwicklungで，対応プラットフォームはPCのほか，PlayStation 5，Xbox Series X，PlayStation 4，Xbox One。予約受付もすでに始まっている。


　シリーズ従来作と同様，「Construction Simulator」は，Caterpillar，CASE，BELL，DAF，Doosanなど，実在するメーカーの大型建設機械を駆使して，クライアントから請け負った仕事をこなし，自分の建設会社を成長させていくシミュレーションゲームだ。最初はたいした仕事がもらえないが，ゲームを進めるにつれてさまざまな建機が使用可能になり，湾岸エリアを改装して観光客を集めたり，再生可能エネルギー問題の解決したりなど，仕事もだんだんと大規模になっていく。
　建設現場では，どういう場面でどういう建機を使うのかといったことを理解している必要があるなど，なかなかマニアックなシリーズだ。


　ゲームには，アメリカとドイツをモチーフにした2つの巨大なマップが用意されており，70種類を超える建機と90以上の仕事が登場する。マルチプレイにも対応しているとのことだ。
　新たに公開されたトレイラーは，クレーン車やショベルカー，ブルドーザー，ダンプカーなど，さまざまなメーカーの建設機械を紹介するものとなっている。ファンはぜひ，じっくり視聴してほしい。
