コミック版スタークラフト，DC Comicsから5月発売に

　スタークラフトのコミック版「STARCRAFT ＃1」が，2009年5月27日に発売されることが発表された。DC ComicsのWildstormブランドから毎月発売される予定で，全32ページカラー，価格は2.99ドルとなる。

　「STARCRAFT #1」は，アウトローばかりが集められたWarPigsという部隊が活躍する物語となる。どのようなストーリーが展開するのかは不明だが，このWarPigsは，スタークラフトシリーズでは欠かせないキャラクター，Jim Raynorによって結成されたということで，ファンにはたまらない設定だろう。

　なおDC ComicsのWildstormは，このほかにも「Gears of War」や「Mirror's Edge」「World of Warcraft」など，ゲームをベースとするコミックを多数出版しており，ゲーマーには見逃せないコミックブランドとなっている。
