「Quake 4」Version 1.1パッチに不具合発生
id Softwareは，先日リリースした「Quake 4」のVersion 1.1 Point Releaseと，その前にリリースしたVersion 1.1βパッチに不具合があったとして，両パッチを公式サイトから削除した。
この件に関する正式なコメントは出されていないようだが，Blues Newsの記事によると，これらのパッチ導入時に，ワイドスクリーン環境下でなんらかの不具合が発生することが判明した模様。
id Softwareでは，すでに修正を加えた新パッチを準備中とのことだが，このパッチを当てている人に対しては，ゲームの設定を「ワイドスクリーンを使用しない」にしてのプレイを勧めている。（朝倉哲也）
