米ソ大戦を描く「World in Conflict」，迫力のムービーが公開

　東西の冷戦が続く1988年，NATO連合諸国に侵攻したソ連軍をアメリカ軍が迎え撃つという，歴史のIfを描くミリタリーRTS「World in Conflict」の最新ムービートレイラー（2分12秒：23.6MB）が，WorthPlaying.comで公開された。

　突如飛来する戦闘ヘリ，それに続く戦車などの陸上部隊。アメリカの国旗が翻る田舎町に，ソ連軍が侵攻してきたという緊迫したシーンからこのムービーは始まる。両軍の先遣部隊が接触し，銃撃戦へ発展するプレイ映像が収録されている。
　
　World in Conflictは，ストラテジーとFPSの要素を兼ね備え，プレイヤーが指揮官と兵士の両方を体験できるという注目作だ。ぜひこのムービーもチェックしておこう。（朝倉哲也）
