　Take-Two Interactive Japanは，メジャーリーグベースボールファン待望のシリーズ最新作「MLB 2K11」（PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/PSP）を，2011年4月14日に発売することを発表した。価格はPS3版とXbox 360版が6090円（税込），PSP版が5040円（税込）。

　本作は，最新MLBデータを元にした野球ゲームシリーズの最新作だ。PS3版やXbox 360版では，公式のMLB最新データのダウンロードや，オンラインで世界中のプレイヤーと対戦が可能だ。また，すべてのプラットフォームで，チーム運営やホームランダービーなどの多彩なモードで楽しめるのが特徴となっている。
　ちなみに，パッケージデザインには，MLBの現役ピッチャーの中でも最高の選手と言われているロイ・ハラディ選手がメインビジュアルを飾っている。

　なお，日本国内で発売となる本作に日本語マニュアルが付属するが，ゲーム内は英語表記および英語音声のみとなっている。英語が苦手な人にはやや厳しいかもしれないが，本場の雰囲気を感じながら本作を楽しんでみよう。
