都市の平和を守る警察官の日常が体験できる「Police Simulator: Patrol Officers」，Switch版が10月29日にリリース。ティザートレイラーを公開

　ゲームパブリッシャのastragon Entertainmentは，ドイツのデベロッパAesir Interactiveが開発した「Police Simulator: Patrol Officers」のNintendo Switch版となる「Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Nintendo Switch Edition」を2024年10月29日にリリースすると発表し，ティザートレイラーを公開した。
　価格は4600円（税込）で日本語にも対応。ニンテンドーeショップでは，10％オフのセール価格で予約の受付が始まっている。


　2022年にPC版などがリリースされた「Police Simulator: Patrol Officers」は，アメリカの架空の大都市ブライトン（Brighton）の治安を守る警察官の暮らしが体験できる三人称視点のゲームだ。プレイヤーは用意された8人のキャラクターから1人を選び，シフトを開始する。


　最初は徒歩でパトロールしながら駐車違反を見つけて切符を切ったり，落書き犯を捕まえるといった仕事から始め，パトカーが与えられると，スピード違反の車を追跡したり，交通事故を処理したりする。こうして経験を積み，やがて，スリを逮捕したり，麻薬の密売現場をおさえたり，犯罪現場の捜査を行ったりしていくことになるという。出世するにつれて，新たな管轄区域や車がアンロックされ，次の任務に挑むというシステムで，通常は1人でプレイするところ，2人のプレイヤーが協力してパトロールするマルチプレイにも対応している。


　プレイヤーの行動を評価するゲームメカニクスが用意されており，不正な行為を働くと解雇されるというペナルティも存在するとのことだ。大都市で働く警察官の日常を体験したい人は，発売を楽しみにしてほしい。
