いよいよ発売の迫る「Portal 2」，500mからの落下も受け止める高性能ブーツの紹介ムービーが公開に

　「ポータル2【日本語版】」（PC / MAC / PS3 / Xbox360）に登場する架空のハイテク企業Aperture Scienceが贈る，同社製品の販売促進用プロモーションムービー第4弾「Boots」が公開された。


　ムービーでは，前作「Portal」でも知られた高性能なブーツが紹介されている。シングルプレイヤーモードに登場する主人公のChellは，このバネのついたようなブーツによって，500mの落下によるショックも十分に受け止められるのだ。ポータルドアを利用して飛び回るChellの様子が，これまで以上に軽快で楽しそうである。


　発売日となるアメリカ時間の2011年4月18日がいよいよ迫ってきたPortal 2だが，かの国ではすでにプレローディング（ゲームを事前にダウンロードしておき，期日と共にプレイ可能にすること）ができるようになっている。日本でもPC版が4月22日に登場する予定で，新しいPortalの世界を十分に満喫できる日が，そこまで近づいているのだ。
