「Metro: Last Light」のDLC第1弾「Faction Pack」が7月16日から海外で配信。各勢力にスポットを当てた新たなミッションが収録

　Deep Silverは，「Metro: Last Light」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）で初のDLCとなる「Faction Pack」をダウンロード販売すると発表した。配信日は，北米では2013年7月16日，欧州ではPC版とXbox 360版が7月16日，PlayStation 3版が7月17日となっている。


　Faction Packは，核戦争後のモスクワの地下鉄構内で生き延びる，複数の勢力にスポットライトを当てたものだ。放射能の嵐が吹き荒れる中で，Red Lineの“Special Detachment Sniper”として敵の要塞に潜入したり，Fourth Reichの“Heavy”として波のように押し寄せて来るミュータントを前線で食い止めたり，Polis Rangerの新入りとしてアーティファクトや遺物を求めて図書館を探索したりと，三者三様のプレイを楽しめるという。用意されているマップは，前作「Metro 2033」に出てきたロケーションとのことで，シリーズのファンには気になるDLCと言えるかもしれない。


　また，Faction Packのほかにも複数のDLCが開発中であり，戦闘シミュレーター“The Tower”に身を投じるベテラン兵を描いた「Tower Pack」，激しい銃撃戦にフォーカスした「Developer Pack」，そしてPavel，Khan，Annaの3人でプレイできるサイドストーリーが収録された「Chronicles Pack」がいずれリリースされるとのことだ。
